After you generate a benefit statement, you can review your service years and current amounts, then print a copy for your records. Follow these sections to review and print your statement.


Open your benefit statement

Before you review your statement, you'll need to generate it.

  1. Generate your benefit statement.


Review your service years

Your service years show the pensionable service that has been recorded for you.

  1. Select the magnifier tool to see additional detail on your service years.

These are the types of service you may see:

Service type

What it means

Transfer/Bought Back

Previous public sector service that has been transferred into the UCD pension scheme or bought back.

Full Time or Part Time Pre or Post 01/01/2011

UCD full-time or part-time service accrued before or after 1 January 2011.

Accrued Notional Service (Gross)

Purchased notional service years.

Accrued Notional (Free) (Gross)

Discretionary added service years that are not guaranteed. This service will not be shown on your record.


Review your current amounts

Current Amounts show your Pension, Lump Sum, and Spouse and Child Pensions, based on the calculation criteria entered.

  1. Select the relevant magnifier tool to see additional detail on any of these amounts.


Print your statement

You can print a copy of your Online Statement of Retirement Benefits.

  1. Click Print at the end of your screen.

This will save a copy of your retirement benefit statement.
