Record an employee as a pensioner

How to set an employee as a pensioner in PeopleXD Pension.

If you need to record an employee as a pensioner in PeopleXD Pension, you need to generate a pension benefit statement, record them as a pensioner, then populate their pension end date.

To do this, follow the steps in each of the sections below, in back office.

Generate the pension benefit statement

  1. Click CorePension then click Maintenance.

  2. Click Generate Employee Pension Benefits.

  3. Fill in the following fields:

    • Employee Ref: Leave blank if generating employee benefits for all employees

    • Pension Scheme: To select a pension scheme, click the list icon.

    • Calculation date: The date the pension benefit will be based on.

  4. Click OK then click the exit icon.


Record the employee as a pensioner

  1. Click CorePension then click Maintenance.

  2. Click Record Pension Option.

  3. In the Employee Ref field, enter the employee number.

  4. From the Chosen Pension Option drop-down menu, select the relevant option.

  5. From the Scheme Exit Category drop-down menu, select the relevant option.

  6. Check the details are correct.

  7. Click the save icon then click the exit icon.



Enter the pension end date

  1. Click CorePension then click Maintenance.

  2. Click Employee Details.

  3. In the Employee Ref field, enter the employee number.

  4. From the Selection drop down menu, select Maintain Employee Pension Details.

  5. In the Employee Ref field, enter the employee number.

  6. In the Pension End date, enter their retirement date.

  7. Click the save icon.
