Configuration changes required for a single pension scheme NRA

Configuration changes for compliance with DPER circular 24 of 2020.

To set up the configuration changes needed to ensure the single pension scheme NRA complies with DPER circular 24 of 2020, follow the steps below in back office.

  1. Click CorePension then click Reference.

  2. Click Pension Schemes.

  3. In the Pension Scheme field, enter the relevant pension scheme code.

  4. To query the scheme code, click the query Query icon.

  5. To navigate to page 3, double-click the right-arrow Right icon.

  6. In the Deferral Call In Age field, check the deferral call in age is set to 66.

  7. To exit screen, click the exit Exit icon.

  8. Click Pension System Parameters then click Activate Pensioner Options.

  9. In the Pension Scheme field, enter the pension scheme code.

  10. Press Tab on your keyboard.

  11. Next to the Option Type, check the CNER option is enabled.

  12. Click the save Save icon then click the exit icon.

  13. Click Reference then click Pension Reference Data.

  14. In the Pension Scheme field, to select a scheme click the list List icon.

  15. From the Reference Options menu, select SPS Minimum Pension Ages.

  16. Highlight the relevant scheme.

  17. To remove the age 67 and 68 records, click the delete Delete icon.

  18. To save, click the save Save icon then click the exit Exit icon.
